Founded over 11 years ago, D-Tails Groom N’ Board was created to fill a growing need for reliable, high-quality pet care in the Black Hills region. Our mission is simple:

We offer a full range of services—grooming, boarding, and daycare—in a facility designed with pet comfort and well-being in mind. Whether your pet visits for a few hours or several days, we ensure they are cared for with kindness, patience, and professionalism.
Our Story & Mission
All pets must be up-to-date on core vaccinations. For dogs: Rabies, Distemper/Parvo, and Bordetella. For cats: Rabies and FVRCP.
We offer a holistic dog food at no extra cost, but you are welcome to bring your own pet food. For any concerns for GI.
Booking is simple! Call us at (605) 716-0835 or email us with your request. Walk-ins are welcome for select grooming services.
We accept cash, major credit cards, and contactless payments. Payment is due at the time of service or pickup.
Please notify us at least 24 hours in advance to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Late cancellations may be subject to a small fee.
